000° Integrations · Magento Available

Email marketing for Magento, one token and a free module.

Link your store with an integration token that can only read, then install the Azimea module. Customers, orders and products come in on their own, and abandoned carts reach us as they happen.

045° What we bring in from your store

Everything you need to write to the right person.

Customers, orders and products we read through the Magento REST API. Carts and consent are sent by the module, the moment they happen. No files to upload, nothing to export.

  • Customers with an account

They become contacts. Newsletter consent arrives through the module, with its proof: what the person ticked, and when.

  • Guest buyers

People who ordered without an account, taken from the orders. Otherwise they would be missing from your list.

  • Orders and products

Orders from the last 12 months with their value, and products with price and stock. They feed your segments and the recommendations in your emails.

  • Carts, as they happen

The module sends every cart, anonymous visitors’ included, plus the email typed at checkout. That is what starts the abandoned cart flow.

  • Order status

Paid, pending, complete, cancelled, refunded. Whoever has paid leaves the flow, and revenue is attributed correctly.

  • What we never do

We change nothing in your store: no products, prices, stock or orders. The integration has read access only.

090° Connecting

Four steps in your Magento admin. We handle the rest.

  1. In System › Integrations, add an Azimea integration with the resources Customers, Sales › Orders › Actions › View, Catalog › Products and Stores › All Stores. Save, press Activate and Allow, then copy the Access Token.
  2. In Stores › Configuration › Services › OAuth, set “Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens” to Yes.
  3. Paste the token into Azimea with your store’s address. Azimea gives you the store key and the secret for the module.
  4. Unzip the module in the Magento root, run bin/magento setup:upgrade, then paste the key and secret in Stores › Configuration › Azimea.

Azimea checks the token on the spot and starts bringing in your data. If something is wrong, it tells you exactly what: a wrong token, the OAuth option switched off or a missing resource.

The Azimea module for Magento

Free · Magento 2.4.4+ or Mage-OS · PHP 8.1+

135° Key security

Your token only reads. And it stays yours.

You never give us your admin password. You create a dedicated integration with read-only resources, which you can see in Magento and deactivate any time, without asking us.

  • Encrypted when saved

It never appears again in the interface or in logs, not for you and not for us.

  • Signed events

The module signs every delivery with your store’s secret, and we refuse anything without the right signature.

  • Revoke any time

From System › Integrations. From that moment, Azimea can no longer read anything from your store.

  • Audit log

Who connected, changed or disconnected the store, and when.

180° Requirements

What your store needs.

A maintained Magento 2.4 store already has all of this. Not sure? Send us your address and we will check.

  • Magento 2.4.4 or later

Or Adobe Commerce, or Mage-OS 1.0+, with PHP 8.1 or later and the curl extension.

  • Command-line access

For bin/magento setup:upgrade, as with any module. A few minutes’ work for whoever looks after your store.

  • Magento’s cron running

For retries. Without it, events still go out; only the retries wait for the next visit.

  • A site on HTTPS

Your store’s address must start with https://.

WooCommerce, PrestaShop, OpenCart and Shopware work too. Shopify, Gomag and MerchantPro are Coming soon.

— Technical questions

For you, or whoever builds your site.

Can’t find the answer? Write to us at suport@azimea.com.

Why a token and a module?

They do different jobs. The token lets us read customers, orders and products through the REST API. Abandoned carts cannot be read from the API, so the module sends them as they happen. Without the module, orders still sync, but the abandoned cart flow does not start.

Does it work in production mode?

Yes. After setup:upgrade, run setup:di:compile and setup:static-content:deploy as for any module, then flush the cache.

Can the key and secret stay out of the database?

Yes. Put them in the PHP environment as AZIMEA_STORE_KEY and AZIMEA_SECRET, and the settings screen tells you they come from the server.

How is newsletter consent collected?

The way you choose in Azimea: an unticked box at checkout, a note under the email field, or the consent you already collect. You write the words per store view. The module only sends consent together with an order or a new account.

What happens if I disconnect the store?

We delete the token and stop any import in progress. The contacts and orders brought in so far stay in your account. You can reconnect any time, with a new token.
