PrestaShop 8 and 9 · Free module · Switch the key off in your back office any time
045° What we bring in from your shop
Everything you need to write to the right person.
Customers, orders and products we read through the PrestaShop webservice. Carts and consent are sent by the module, the moment they happen. No files to upload, nothing to export.
- Customers with an account
They become contacts. Newsletter consent arrives through the module, with its proof: what the person ticked, and when.
- Guest buyers
People who ordered without an account, taken from the orders. Otherwise they would be missing from your list.
- Orders and products
Orders from the last 12 months with their value, and products with price and stock. They feed your segments and the recommendations in your emails.
- Carts, as they happen
The module sends every cart, anonymous visitors’ included, plus the email typed at checkout. That is what starts the abandoned cart flow.
- Order status
Paid, pending, shipped, cancelled, refunded. Whoever has paid leaves the flow, and revenue is attributed correctly.
- What we never do
We change nothing in your shop: no products, prices, stock or orders. The webservice key can only read.
090° Connecting
Four steps in your back office. We handle the rest.
- In the back office, go to Advanced Parameters › Webservice, switch the webservice on and add a new key described as
Azimea. - Tick only View (GET) for
customers,orders,order_states,currencies,configurations,products,categoriesandstock_availables. - Paste the key into Azimea with your shop’s address. Azimea gives you the store key and the secret for the module.
- Upload the module in Modules › Module Manager › Upload a module, paste the key and secret on its page and press Test connection.
Azimea checks the key on the spot and starts bringing in your data. If something is wrong, it tells you exactly what: a wrong key, the webservice switched off or a missing permission.
The Azimea module for PrestaShop
Sends carts, orders and consent as they happen. Its page shows whether Azimea answers, the last delivery and anything waiting.

135° Key security
Your key only reads. And it stays yours.
You never give us your admin password. You create a dedicated, read-only webservice key that you can see in PrestaShop and switch off any time, without asking us.
- Encrypted when saved
It never appears again in the interface or in logs, not for you and not for us.
- Signed events
The module signs every delivery with your shop’s secret, and we refuse anything without the right signature.
- Revoke any time
From Advanced Parameters › Webservice. From that moment, Azimea can no longer read anything from your shop.
- Audit log
Who connected, changed or disconnected the shop, and when.
180° Requirements
What your shop needs.
An up-to-date PrestaShop shop already has all of this. Not sure? Send us your address and we will check.
- PrestaShop 8 or 9
The module runs on 8.0 up to 9.x, with PHP 8.1 or later.
- The webservice switched on
In Advanced Parameters › Webservice. It works without friendly URLs, but faster with them.
- A site on HTTPS
Your shop’s address must start with https://.
- An admin account
To create the webservice key and install the module.
225° Other platforms
WooCommerce, OpenCart, Magento and Shopware work too. Shopify, Gomag and MerchantPro are Coming soon.
— Technical questions
For you, or whoever builds your site.
Can’t find the answer? Write to us at suport@azimea.com.
Why a key and a module?
They do different jobs. The webservice key lets us read customers, orders and products. Abandoned carts cannot be read from the webservice, so the module sends them as they happen. Without the module, orders still sync, but the abandoned cart flow does not start.
Will the module slow my shop down?
No. Events go into a queue first and leave at the end of the request, after the visitor already has the page, wherever the server allows it. For retries we recommend a cron every 5 minutes; its address is on the module’s page.
How is newsletter consent collected?
The way you choose in Azimea: an unticked box at checkout, a note beside the form, or the consent you already collect. The module only sends consent together with an order or a new account, with the exact words the person saw.
Can I withdraw access at any time?
Yes. In Advanced Parameters › Webservice, switch off or delete the “Azimea” key, and uninstall the module from the Module Manager. From that moment we receive nothing and read nothing.
What happens if I disconnect the shop?
We delete the key and stop any import in progress. The contacts and orders brought in so far stay in your account. You can reconnect any time, with a new key.
